My trip to New York (")>

One Day my parents decided to go on a trip to New York. But, my siblings & I didn't even know about it until the morning we were going! Once we heard the news we all started packing. When we to the airport all of us were so excited. After we got through the security check my 3 year old sister was pushing my 7 year old brother, my parents & I were laughing so hard! On the plane the view was spectacular, all the lights were on & and it was late at night. The in-flight entertainment was very emotional, it was the called The Times Travelers Wife, it even made me cry like hell. When we got off the plane we were finally in New York.

After we got out of the airport it took forever for the shuttle for our hotel to pick us up & it was FREEZING, I'm surprised it didn't snow. Finally the shuttle came but when we went in the shuttle, two other ladies came along. At first they seemed nice, until the lady next to my sister started telling her what to do & if she didn't do what she says, she gets a little mad. When we arrived at "the Comfort Inn" we were so tired & hungry.

Now let me tell you about the hotel. The hotel was average. It had a little corner for a breakfast, with water, milk, and a microwave always available & we were right next to it. There was about 5 or 6 floors,  our room was on the first. The rooms, or at least our room was sorta weird. But the only weird thing about our room was the bathroom. The shower was the only thing wrong though. The shower had NO TUB. So let me move on to what we did there on the first day. After we got a little rest & food my mom, brother, & me went to the mall. But that was pretty much it.

The second day was so boring, well at least for me. My parents went to visit their old classmates. So to get to them we had to take the subway, which was the first time because there are no subways where I live. When we finally came to ground level we realized we took the subway too far. Even though we could have just gone back to the subway we enjoyed the view & started walking around. After walking we took the subway back. My parents met their classmates where we stopped. But, we met in Rockefeller Center & we were taking tons of pictures. One of the places where we stopped to take pictures was the ice rink, we didn't even go skating! After that we went to Times Square. Times Square was AWESOME. It was bright, full of life, & soul. Since I was sad that i couldn't go ice skating..... my mom's classmate's husband bought me this cute teddy bear at m&m world. Then we went to planet Hollywood & I was surprised how many celebrities went there.

The next day we went to Liberty Island & saw the beautiful Statue of Liberty. That trip pretty much took up our whole day though. But, we had enough time to go ice skating for about a hour. During the ice skating my brother  fell on his butt about a thousand times. I was still pretty bad at ice skating too though....

Our last day was BORING. All we did was pack up, eat, get ready, then we left. :-(
